Concept

How do you successfully create a residential community with a diverse buyer profile from Millennials to Retirees?

The innovation of “Hip-Nautical” design elements were created to:  1) Capture the essence of the industrialized Point Richmond Harbor;  2) Connect users to the history of the existing quarry site;  and 3) Create a rich and diverse community within an protected coastal setting.

(The project development consists of 193 for-sale condos within (7) unique building designs, and a recreation clubhouse.)

The Program + architecture

The Quarry is an 18.4 acre multi-family residential project located in the Richmond Marina in Point Richmond, California. The project passed the Design Review Board and Planning Commission in 2017 and is approved for up to 200 multi-family units located within 2 miles of the Richmond Ferry Terminal (that begin operations in Jan. 2019).  Construction start is expected to be mid-2019.
