Why I'm Writing This
That quiet, constant sense that you are only as good as your last performance — and what it took to find a way out.
Read on SubstackHelping people discover they were designed on purpose — and learn to live from it, not perform for it.
I came to know the Designer, and I haven't been able to stop seeing the design since — in buildings, in products, in people. My books trace it back to the intention underneath: that you were made on purpose, wired for value and connection and peace, and meant to live from that design instead of striving to earn it. I write from the recovery side of the table, not the pulpit side.

He spends his working life doing the patient work that comes before anything is built — searching for the governing idea beneath a project, the intention that decides why it should exist and take the form it does. That instinct does not switch off when he leaves the drawing board. The more carefully he looked, the more clearly he saw the same intention in the one place no architect can take credit for: the design of the human person.
For over two decades he has volunteered in recovery and discipleship. He writes from the recovery side of the table, not the pulpit side.
